Confinement-Type Anime

During this period of world crisis, what better than to watch some anime characters striving in a similar situation than yours. As many know, confinement is simply the action of confining or state of being confined usually as protection measures or self-preservation. So, for this post I've selected  few anime where the characters are willingly or unwillingly separated from the outside world.

Let's start😊😊:

1. Shingeki No Kyojin 

 

I'm sure we all saw that coming. In terms of being confined in the anime world, they are probably outmatched. In the SNK verse, all main characters and even facultative characters are enclosed into The Walls. There are three walls are the Wall Rose, Wall Maria and the Wall Sheena each varying in population and social status.

We can clearly see that they put all what they had to protect themselves from the exterior which is full to the brink with titans. Anyways, if you wanna see lots of blood and cliffhangers, I recommend it.

2. Yakusoku No Neverland

Imagine growing up in the perfect environment surrounded by your large family, well-groomed and happy and then learn the truth behind your so-called happiness. This is all Yakusoku No Neverland is all about. Our dear protagonists live enclosed into the beautiful Grace Field Estate only to discover the truth behind their perfect life. They flee away from their imposed confinement and their meathouse of a home.

 

If you are in search of suspense and a twisted plot, this anime is just for you. Believe me, you will not be disappointed.

3. Danganronpa

You wake up in a school, all exits locked up and you learn the only way to survive is by getting rid of all your classmates one by one. Amazing anime from beginning to end. No entry/exit (ideal confinement conditions) and 15 students with no adults, you may think things are about to get hot but you couldn't be more wrong.

4. Owari No Seraph

Trying to win back a world taken over by vampires is no easy task. Just like our scientists striving to find a vaccine, our protagonists hunt down vampires. A good graphic design and nice character development and background. This is an anime that will not leave you indifferent.

If you are one for tragic back stories and deep friendships, you're right before the rare pearl.

5. Darling in the Franxx

In a world where male and female genders combine themselves with each other to pilot high-tech machinery named Franxx to fight against raging klaxosaurs, Zero Two and Hiro strives to find their place. If you love a good fight and a dramatic love story then I wholeheartedly recommend it to you.
